Special Fitness Trainers serve as a role model to every member, influencing healthy choices and positive behavior. Special Fitness customizes fitness to benefit everyone in a safe and engaging way, while creating a positive connection.
An Inspiration
Amidst the challenges of the 2020 pandemic emerged the profound inspiration behind Special Fitness, a beacon ignited by the unwavering determination of Devan Belanger. A young man with Autism, Devan's journey was defined by his indomitable spirit and his use of Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) to eloquently convey his thoughts. Fueled by his profound awareness of the importance of health, Devan yearned to forge a path towards a healthier lifestyle. Leveraging his background in sports and fitness training, Michael, Devan's devoted care provider, embarked on a transformative journey alongside him.
From local gyms to the familiar embrace of his home and nearby parks, Devan and Michael's partnership flourished. Their bond became the cornerstone of a nurturing environment, a sanctuary where Devan's aspirations took root and blossomed. Together, they cultivated a supportive haven, inspiring Devan to reach his fitness milestones and claim his place as an inspiring member of his local gym community.
As time evolved, the ripple effect of their journey sparked a larger movement. Today, Special Fitness extends its empowering touch to encompass kids, adults, and seniors across the Southeast Wisconsin region. We are dedicated to guiding individuals of all abilities towards a life brimming with vitality and joy. Our legacy, born from the remarkable alliance between Devan and Michael, embodies the boundless potential that resides within each individual we proudly serve.

You may ask, what is in a name? Let me tell you, "Special Fitness" is exactly what you'd expect and more. My son is the "OG" when it comes to receiving the services provided at Special Fitness. He has been with them from the very beginning and loves it. He cannot wait for his workouts and the results have been amazing. As parents, we never thought we would find an outfit that would provide such services to our son and prove to us we would be this overwhelmingly satisfied. We LOVE ❤️ Special Fitness!
